Softball Travel Teams

This email is going to all active users in our system and provides travel team notices for softball players. The below notices are information as provided by the contacts for each notice. We have not adjusted their messaging. Contact information is below. All teams participate through the Brentwood Ball Club.

“Brentwood Riptide (12U) will be adding a couple of new players this fall as a few of our 05 girls age out. If your daughter is an 06 birth year player or strong 07 birth year player and is interested in joining a fun, competitive team in the middle TN area, please reach out to Coach Mason ([email protected]). We will be hosting an open tryout on Saturday, June 30th from 9-11am, or you may request a private workout. All positions are welcome, but catching and/or middle infield experience is a plus. Also, prior travel ball experience is preferred, but not mandatory. We typically practice twice per week at either Crockett Park or Civitan Park in Brentwood and play a full schedule of mostly Middle TN tournaments throughout the fall and spring/summer. “Showtime Softball is adding a travel 12U softball team next fall in addition to our current 10U and 14U programs. Our current 10U team will be splitting up into 2 teams as half of our roster has 2008 birth dates. We are looking for talented, dedicated, and passionate players and families to play a competitive fall 2018 and spring 2019 season. Showtime has a successful track record of DEVELOPING baseball and softball players on and off the field...with a team first mentality - we are a no drama organization that truly focuses on development of young athletes vs. breaking team bonds for weekend success. Over the next few weeks, we will be conducting private try-outs either at our Indoor Facility in Cool Springs or our Home Field at Crockett Park as part of the Brentwood Ballclub organization. Travel softball experience is preferred but not required for consideration. Our coaches are former collegiate players and share the same philosophy and approach to the game. Our 10U and 12U programs are led by Callie Nelsen (Gustavus College), Julie Harmon (Belmont University), Mark Murray (Vanderbilt University), and Jennifer Chilton (University of TN Martin) with guest Showtime instructors teaching throughout the season.
