2020 MYSA Coed Spring League Update

Good day, MYSA 2020 Spring Season Families:

Thank you for your patience in waiting for more detailed information regarding our MYSA 2020 Spring Season.

Please know we have not forgotten about you! To the contrary, we have missed the daily connection to our players and families. When visiting Mary Grogan and many other parks in the community, it’s apparent the soccer spirit of our community is missing. Not being able to hear our coaches’ coaching, our player’s laughing, or parent's cheering….has been something we’ve had to adjust to.  It is our deepest hope that soon this quiet scene will change, and we will once again be able to share the important experience of playing soccer together!

After hours of consideration within our Board of Directors and Management, we have decided to move our Spring Season into May or June; as soon as the safety orders are lifted.  And to make sure we complete the full season we’re prepared to have weekends with up to two games played per team.  For families that have enjoyed our Winter Mini- Season, this will be a similar format of playing more than one game over the weekend.  We did consider cancelling the season, however over half of the registration money has already been spent on securing jerseys, field rentals, and other non-refundable costs.  Instead of leaving you with an unused jersey and partial refund, we’re very excited with the opportunity to host a unique Spring Season, getting us all back out to the field competing, socializing and making memories with our community.

If by June it has been determined we will not get a chance to play the 2020 Spring season, you will be provided with the option to receive a partial refund, or credit to be used for the MYSA 2020 Fall league, summer camps, foot skills/shooting/Ajax Jrs. Classes, Friday Night Lights, and any adult soccer program. Please understand that refunds or credits will not be considered prior to June.
